About Us
Incident Command Training, founded in 2023, is a consulting company dedicated to helping companies, agencies, and First Nations develop and implement effective Incident Command System (ICS) training and exercise programs. We are a Canadian company based in Victoria, British Columbia, and provide our services across Canada.

Training Focus Area
-
Incident Command System (ICS):
The Incident Command System is the most effective and efficient approach to incident response and has been adopted by most emergency response organizations. Our team focuses on training personnel in the roles and responsibilities within an Incident Command Post (ICP), including managing resources, logistics, planning, and situational awareness during an incident.
-
Collaboration and Multi-Agency Coordination:
Having worked alongside multiple agencies and partners, we emphasize the importance of coordination, communication, and decision-making when responding to large-scale incidents involving multiple stakeholders.
Marc's Story
Marc is an emergency response specialist and an ICS Canada-certified instructor. He is passionate about teaching ICS and preparing response personnel for emergency response services through effective teamwork.

As a qualified instructor with ICS Canada, he is authorized to teach up to the ICS-400 level as well as Position-Specific ICS courses. This will ensure that responders are prepared for specific roles within an incident. His teaching methodology is deeply rooted in his extensive field experience, making his workshops and training sessions highly practical and relevant. By creating realistic exercise scenarios and leveraging his hands-on emergency response experience, Marc ensures that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Emergency Response Experience
Marc has successfully trained and mentored Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) staff, federal agencies, and First Nations communities, empowering them to apply ICS principles in diverse emergency response scenarios. His commitment to ICS training ensures that all responders are equipped with the skills necessary to manage and coordinate complex incidents effectively.
